About Access Control Accessories
Accessories complete an access control or attendance system. Desktop USB readers such as the CR20E and CR20M enrol cards at reception, and the ZK9500 optical fingerprint scanner enrols fingerprints at a desk. Wiegand card readers such as the KR500/M, KR501-M and KR502 add a second reader to a door, for example on the exit side.
The ZK-DF01 dual-frequency card works with both 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz readers, the ZK-DM10 extension panel moves the lock relay inside the secure area over RS485, and the VT07-B0-W is an IP video indoor monitor for intercom systems.
How to choose the right Access Control Accessories
- Check the card frequency your readers use (125 kHz EM or 13.56 MHz Mifare) before ordering cards.
- Use a desktop USB reader to enrol cards and fingerprints at reception instead of at the door.
- Add an exit-side reader where you need to record who leaves as well as who enters.
- Mount the lock relay inside the secure area so the door cannot be opened by tampering with the outside reader.
