Who we are
This website, zktecosupplier.com ("ZKTeco Supplier"), is operated by Sion General Trading Co LLC ("we", "us"), DBC Building, F204, near Airport Road, Al Khabaisi, Deira, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
Information we collect
- Information you send us: when you call, email or WhatsApp us, or ask for a quotation, we receive the details you share, such as your name, company, phone number, email address, delivery address and project requirements.
- Website usage data: when you browse the site, we collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view, clicks and scrolling, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address (see Analytics below).
- Server logs: our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, browser and time of request, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, deliver and install products, provide support and maintenance, keep business and accounting records, and improve our website. We do not sell your personal data.
Analytics: Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our website, through heatmaps, session recordings and usage statistics. Clarity collects data about your visit (for example clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, device and browser information) using cookies and similar technologies. Text you type is masked by default. Microsoft processes this data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Cookies
The public website does not use advertising cookies. Microsoft Clarity sets cookies (such as _clck and _clsk) to recognise returning visits and group page views into sessions. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Third-party services
- Vercel hosts the website and processes server logs.
- Google Fonts and cdnjs (Cloudflare) deliver fonts and icons, which means your browser connects to their servers and shares your IP address with them.
- WhatsApp (Meta): if you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
- Delivery partners receive the delivery details needed to fulfil an order.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UAE.
How long we keep data
We keep enquiry and quotation records for as long as we need them to respond and to follow up on your project. Invoices and accounting records are kept for the period required by UAE law.
Your rights
Depending on the applicable law, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy of it.
