ZKTeco Tanzania projects often involve distance. A mine in the Lake Zone or a lodge near Arusha may be far from the nearest technician. That is why we focus on devices that are simple to maintain and easy to support remotely. A biometric attendance machine in Tanzania should also store records offline and cope with dust and heat. Rugged portable terminals with a built-in battery are a common choice.

We are not a ZKTeco distributor in Tanzania and have no local branch. We export from Dubai and help your installer by phone and WhatsApp. For access control in Dar es Salaam offices and warehouses, we suggest readers and controllers to match your doors. For time attendance in Tanzania across several sites, we match models and software to your connectivity. A lodge or small office may need only one or two devices.

What we supply in Tanzania

Typical projects and the ZKTeco products that suit them.

Mining operations

Mines and their camps need reliable attendance for shift crews and controlled entry to site areas. Rugged portable terminals with IP65 protection, 4G and a battery suit remote locations. Turnstiles manage access at main gates.

Safari lodges and beach hotels

Lodges near Arusha and hotels in Zanzibar use RFID guest-room locks with card encoders. Battery-powered locks need no network cabling between rooms or cottages. Staff attendance terminals help manage seasonal teams.

Ports, logistics and manufacturing

Warehouses and factories in Dar es Salaam need shift attendance and controlled staff entry. Barrier gates and long-range UHF readers manage trucks, while tripod turnstiles handle staff at the gate.

Agricultural estates

Tea, sisal and coffee estates often employ many seasonal workers across wide areas. Portable attendance devices go out to the field, and BioTime turns the punches into daily attendance reports for payroll.

Practical notes for Tanzania projects

Power: Tanzania uses 230 V at 50 Hz, with Type D and Type G sockets. ZKTeco power adapters are normally rated for 100–240 V input, but the plug may differ. Protect devices with a UPS or surge protector.
Language: Swahili is the national language, and English is widely used in business. Most ZKTeco menus are in English. Ask us if a specific model needs another language.
Import paperwork: Many imported products need a Certificate of Conformity under the TBS pre-shipment verification programme. Wireless models may need TCRA type approval. Check current requirements with your clearing agent.
Data protection: The Personal Data Protection Act 2022 applies to employee data, including biometrics. Get consent and explain the purpose. Check whether you must register with the Personal Data Protection Commission.
Connectivity: Remote sites can use 4G models or export records by USB drive. Choose BioTime Cloud if head office in Dar es Salaam needs live data from several sites.

How we supply Tanzania from Dubai

Tanzanian orders are quoted and shipped from our Dubai office. After we confirm stock, goods go by air freight or by sea, usually through Dar es Salaam port. Alternatively, we hand them to your forwarder in Dubai. Import clearance, duties and TBS requirements are the buyer's responsibility unless agreed otherwise. We include a commercial invoice, packing list and datasheets for your clearing agent. Set-up guidance and technical support are available by phone and WhatsApp, in English and Arabic.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy ZKTeco products from Dubai for Tanzania?

Yes. We export genuine ZKTeco devices from Dubai to Tanzania. We confirm stock, quote in writing, and ship by air or sea or through your forwarder. Your clearing agent then handles import and TBS requirements in Tanzania.

Which ZKTeco device works at a remote mine in Tanzania?

A rugged portable terminal such as the S922 suits mines. It has IP65 protection, a large built-in battery, and 4G or Wi-Fi for uploads. Where the gate has power and network, a fixed face recognition terminal under shade works well.

Do ZKTeco hotel locks suit safari lodges?

Yes. ZKTeco RFID hotel locks run on batteries, so you do not need network cables to each room. Reception issues guest cards with an encoder, which suits lodges with scattered cottages. Send us the door type and thickness so we can match the lock.

How do I request a ZKTeco quotation for Tanzania?

WhatsApp +971 50 350 1406 with your model list, or describe your site, staff numbers and power situation. Include the delivery town and your clearing agent. We send a written quotation from Dubai.

Do you install ZKTeco systems in Tanzania?

No. We supply from Dubai and support set-up remotely. A local installer or your IT team mounts and connects the devices. We advise them on wiring and software by phone and WhatsApp. Tanzania is one hour behind Dubai, which makes calls easy to schedule.
